Bring centers to life using academic sensory bins in your classroom.
Print the center cards onto colored paper and laminate for durability. Cut the cards up and place in a tub filled with seasonal goodies for the students to feel and explore. I like to look in the Target Dollar Spot, craft stores, and my own classroom cupboards for tactile objects to put in my tubs. The students use the worksheets to record their answers. You can place the worksheet in a plastic file to use with dry erase markers, or print off the worksheets for the students to take home and show their parents!
November Sensory Bin includes 5 centers and recording sheets-
-turkey letter card: upper and lowercase- practice letters and sounds
-short a word family: at, ad, am, an, ap, ag
-pumpkin ten frames: numbers 1-10
-turkey feather counting: count and write the number OR count and write as a tally: numbers 0-11
-Thanksgiving beginning sounds: the students pick a picture card and then color the beginning sound letter that matches it.
I also included an EDITABLE pumpkin sensory bin activity! You can type in whatever you want onto the pumpkins to create your own learning center.
