Description

This download includes November Errorless Task Boxes and is packed with all things fall fun and turkeys!

Looking to instill independence? Hoping to setup an independent works station, but all the task boxes out there seem too advanced? Here's your solution: Errorless Task Boxes!

Errorless task boxes are essentially just that: task boxes with no wrong answers.

But why would I want to give my student an errorless task? Are they still learning?

YES!! Errorless task boxes are designed for beginner learners who are starting to acquire independent skills. By eliminating the frustration caused by wrong answers, you can help your student focus on the process of completing tasks.

This November set includes 16 total tasks:

- Picture to picture matching: leaves and turkeys

- Non-identical matching: fall leaves

- Scene Match: finally fall

- Numeral Match: 10

- One-to-one correspondence: 1 and 2

- Letter Match: J, K, and L

- Shape Match: Rectangle

- Preposition Match: In Front

- Sentence task boxes (2)

- CVC Word: red

- Color Match: yellow

Tips for errorless task boxes:

  • Reduce the number of task cards: each individual task box comes with 10 task cards, but starting with a smaller amount is completely acceptable (and recommended!)
  • Model and prompt: these expectations must be taught, so model and prompt when necessary
  • Reinforce often: you will hear me say this time and time again. I use a penny board to reinforce expected behaviors. Beginner students earn pennies for smaller expectations, like sitting in their chair, retrieving the task box from the bin, matching one card, etc.

I absolutely love this resource and am so glad I added it to my collection! It was easy to prepare, clearly organized, and simple to implement right away in my classroom. The directions were straightforward, and the layout made it accessible for a variety of learners, which I really appreciate. My students stayed engaged while using it, and it worked well for both small-group instruction and independent practice. I also liked how flexible it was to adapt across different skill levels and teaching settings. This resource saved me time while still supporting meaningful learning, and I can see myself using it again throughout the year. Thank you for creating such a practical, teacher-friendly tool!
