NOVEMBER FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES will help strengthen small hand muscles and work on fine motor skills so children can be successful when cutting, coloring, and writing. These printables provide plenty of practice tracing, hole punching, snipping, cutting, pinching, and grasping.
November Fine Motor Activities is great for small groups at the Teacher Table, in busy boxes or morning work tubs, for Table Time, and during independent centers.
NOVEMBER FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES includes:
- Tracing Paths are a great beginner activity to help develop fine motor skills. Students will use a dry erase marker to TRACE a simple path from left to right. There are 15 Tracing Paths included in Color as well as Black & White! Use them for small groups at school or extra practice at home.
- Snipping Strips are helpful for young students who are just beginning to use scissors and haven’t practiced cutting very much! These ink-saving, Black & White printables allow young learners to “snip” short lines and CUT in a single motion.
- Cutting Practice Sheets are simple pages that allow students to CUT without getting too tired or overwhelmed. Great for saving in a student portfolio to document progress!
- Fine Motor Mats are a versatile favorite of students, teachers, and parents! This resource includes Full Color Fine Motor Mats as well as Black & White ink saver mats. Use the color mats with pom-poms, small manipulatives, mini erasers, or playdough. The B&W printable mats are great to use with dot markers, small stickers, and paints. There are ten Fine Motor Mats in this resource (5 Color and 5 Black & White).
- HOLE PUNCH Cards are a great way to strengthen small muscles and are safer and easier to use than scissors. Four pages of Hole Punch Cards are included.
- DRESS THE TURKEY CARDS focus on developing a child’s pincer grip as they pick up and lay feathers all around the turkey!
- Tracing Cards help your students practice TRACING simple shapes. These mini cards are perfect to assemble on a small book ring and use at Table Time or in morning work tubs.
- Play Dough Paths for rolling, molding, and pressing play dough along a simple path.
- Pre-Writing Cards will give young children plenty of practice making the lines and shapes that letters and numbers are composed of.
