November MATH CRAFTS! MATH CRAFTS are just as the title suggests! Your students will be able to practice math skills that you are teaching and then turn them into a craft! These can be used during center time! I have started making these for my second graders and they love them! For this November MATH CRAFTS' unit, Writing the Digital Time and Drawing the Analog Time to the Hour and Half-Hour, your students will practice telling time to the hour and telling time to the half-hour. They will also write the digital time and draw hands on a clock to show the analog time. Then they will have the opportunity to make a turkey, Pilgrim girl, Pilgrim boy, Native American boy, Native American girl, and a squirrel . There are 6 different crafts they can make in this unit. My second graders didn’t have any trouble cutting out each craft and glueing it together.
Also after my students colored and glued the patterns, I went back and tweaked the file so that not as many problems would be covered up when your students glued their math crafts. I also tried to fix other mistakes that I found.
Remember if you see a mistake please send me a comment before you submit negative feedback so that I can fix it. I always tell my students, “If you can’t make a mistake, you can’t make anything.”
