Do you need a fun way for students to practice sight words? Just mix the cards, grab a recording sheet and let the fun begin! If students draw a turkey card they get a second card during their turn. If they draw a feather card, they state, "Aww, FEATHERS!", discard the card, and continue taking turns. Each word they know is kept in their own pile. The first person to get one row of sight words colored is the winner and the game begins again. Play until all cards are gone, or until everyone has at least one row colored. Add your own variations too!
