Make the month of November Thanksgiving a celebration with these STEM-TASTIC activities. These 7 engaging November Thanksgiving STEM activities are sure to add some rigor and excitement to the month. These quick prep STEM challenges can be used as stations or as activities completed throughout the day/month. These STEM stations were created with Kindergarten and 1st grade in mind, but could also be used for beginning of the year 2nd grade.
Thanksgiving Table (students create a table for Thanksgiving with popsicle sticks and play dough)
Veterans Day (students create the American flag with cubes)
Feather Shapes (students create 2D and 3D shapes with feathers and play dough)
Mayflower (students create the Mayflower with foil, straws, and paper)
Thankful Turkey (students create a turkey using art supplies and write what they are thankful for on each feather)
Thankful Dough (students create pictures using play dough and picture cards)
Thanksgiving Blocks (students create pattern block pictures using pattern blocks and picture cards)
