This is a writing journal you can print and assemble into a book. It has page numbers and a cover. It can simply be stapled together, or, as I do, print a heavier cover on cardstock (I do 11 x 17 and fold for a booklet). This includes different topics in different writing formats. I always include a few "free write" choice pages for students to write about whatever they wish. I invite my students to try writing poetry on these free write pages as well!
***I noticed when opening this on my home computer (versus school computer where it was created) that the format is off. You may have to delete some of the lines for students to write on if this happens. It is a word document and very easy to do! This also allows you to add (or delete) topics of your own! I also have my name, grade, year on the covers of my students' journals…you can do that as well.***
