Popcorn Word Pin-It is a center activity (table work, morning work, finish early work) that is used to practice sight words. The "Pin-It" paper is stapled on top of a piece of construction paper. Students will pin each "dot" that makes up each letter for each popcorn word and each letter for each word in the sentence. When students are finished they take of the top paper and read the construction paper words to you, a friend, assistant or older student. Students can place finished papers in their book bucket to read and practice at independent reading time or take home to share with family and practice at home.
