PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The objective of this folding graphic organizer is to help students decipher the characteristics of Alpha, Beta and Gamma Decay as they delve into Nuclear Chemistry. Students will identify types of Nuclear Decay Reactions and Characteristics of the Decay Processes, including energy emissions, parent-daughter nuclei comparisons, types of particles involved, etc.

This activity would be appropriate for homework, an end-of-topic activity, or even a quick assessment.

There are two versions of this file included.

Blank: Just has the titles for the categories, and students have to fill in and/or cut/paste the prompts into the appropriate categories.

Filled-In: Can be used as an answer key, or as a supplement for students that may require accommodations in their studies.

There is a separate sheet with sets of 18 cut and paste prompts for a more kinesthetic learning experience. Two sets of strips per page.

Instructions are included to demonstrate how the product is supposed to be assembled.
