If you are teaching your students about Isotopes this is an excellent resource! This particular resource is designed as a precursor to nuclear physics and chemistry, but since it is EDITABLE you can make adjustments to the PowerPoint Presentation, student notes and homework.

This resource is also part of my amazing, cost saving Physics Bundle and the Nuclear Energy Enriched Bundle

Topic covered in this resource package include:
• what is an isotope
• drawing Bohr-Rutherford diagrams of isotopes
• similarities and differences between isotopes of the same element
• ground state and excited states (including Bohr-Rutherford diagrams)
• radioisotopes and their uses

The 10-slide animated PowerPoint file is followed exactly by the 2-page student note and 2 pages of homework questions. The second page of homework is a fun review page where students determine the characteristics of different isotopes (atomic mass, atomic number, number of protons, neutrons and electrons) and color or shade to review a secret message. See it here: Isotopes Review: A Chemistry Coloring Page.

The files are available in PDF format to print as-is and as EDITABLE DOCX document files and PPTX PowerPoint files if you need to make an adjustment to meet the needs of your students. Full solutions included!

Check out the PREVIEW for a closer look.
