This simple program will convert a base-10 whole number into any other base you choose: binary, octal, 60 (Babylonians), 20 (Mayans) ... even base 27 if you want!
I created this little windows application in Visual Basic Studio (VB.net). I believe you need the .net framework to run it. Since I have never posted one of my programs on TpT before, this one is completely free! I am curious to know if teachers are able to successfully use them.

Base converting may be applicable to computer programming, or extracurricular math explorations. Students take for granted how intuitive our base-10 system has become. Doing math in another base can help them appreciate the plight of an elementary student.
It may be a very good enrichment task for students to learn/figure out the algorithm to change a base-10 number into another base.
An extension to the program could be to handle decimal numbers, or to allow a different starting base besides 10.
