Number bingo is a fun and interactive way to help students practice number recognition. Number recognition is one of the first steps to math success for our youngest learners.
To get started, print the teacher cards (page 3) and bingo boards (pages 4-33). I like to print the pages on neon cardstock and laminate them to use for years to come! There are 30 unique bingo cards.
How to Play: Play whole class or small group. Each child has a game board and counters in front of them. Put all teacher cards in a box or other holder. Pull out a number and say it out loud. If the student has that number on their game board, they cover it with a marker (I use 2” x 2” construction paper squares). Continue to call out numbers. When a student has 5 counters in a row, they call out “Bingo”. Continue playing whole board, when a child has covered each number on their board, the child calls out “Bingo”.
