Number Blackout is a fun, two person game designed to help students with their math facts and manipulating numbers. Students will not just recite their facts, but will instead take their number knowledge to a new level as they attempt to create a number blackout by creating new math problems with the same sum. Written for addition facts, but easily modified for subtraction, multiplication and/or division.
Here's an example of what the game would look like. Player 1 rolls the two dice (embedded into the interactive lesson)and then uses mental math to find the sum. That player must then pop bubbles with numbers in order to total the same sum. First player to clear their board has made a Number Blackout!!
