This 4 page download represents the part-part whole relationship taught through number bonds. Page 1 has the parts already filled in , students will fill in the missing whole. Page 2 is a blank template, students can create their own number bonds with favorite numbers. Page 3 & 4 will have students color pieces to cut and glue together to form a number bond robot to display on a math board.

This download is a Number Bond Worksheet that will allow students to explore part-part-whole relationships.

Each number bond is created with robot hands as their parts, that when "eaten" by the robot his body shows the whole..

By portraying the robot “eating” his parts to get the "whole" into his belly, students will see a direct relation of combining 2 parts together to make a whole.

For each number students will:
-Fill in the "body" whole number on the worksheet to represent the part-part relationship that equals a whole.
- Represent the part-part-whole relationship using a
number bond robot template.
- Abstractly represent the part-part-whole relationship using hands and body of a robot.

These number bond worksheets are perfect for use as extra practice to a Singapore Math or Math in Focus program.
