Number Clue is a fun mathematical murder mystery game. It has similar game play and styling of the popular board game that many of us grew up with. With Number Clue, students must practice and hone their skills in: divisibility of numbers, factors, primes, composites, and multiples. Students that are new to theses mathematical concepts will WANT to learn them because it helps them win the game quicker
A number has been murdered; can your students figure out who did it? Players then move their game pieces around the board from room to room and use their “number sense” to make deductive guesses as to who murdered the number. The game play pushes student to use mental calculation to gain the competitive edge against their opponents. As students eliminate possibilities, they get closer to the killer, the murder weapon, etc. Was it Professor Plum in the study with a wrench at night, or was it Ms. Scarlet in the Lounge with the banana peel during the day?
Your students will be asking you to let them play this over and over again.
