This is a fun way for your students to practice number forms. Students choose any card to start on. They answer the question on the card and record the answer in one of the boxes on their answer sheet. They will then need to search the room for another card that has that answer on it. Once they find it they will see their next problem. It is so much better than a traditional worksheet. The students will have so much fun with the movement that they won't even realize they are doing work! My students are actually excited to do the work. The 16 cards correlate with 2.NBT.A.3 from the second grade common core math objectives. The problems involve writing three digit numbers in word form, number form, or expanded form.
