Number Writing Practice
Counting 1:1 correspondence
This number writing book was specially designed for young students, students identified as having autism spectrum disorder, or intellectual disabilities. Although there are many number handwriting sheets on the market, this one was made to provide structured, concise activities without a lot of distractions. As a special education teacher, I’ve noticed that although worksheets were cute, my students became over stimulated or fixated on the designs more than the content. Work that typically my students would be able to do independently, ended up requiring more prompting and redirection to complete. This set includes 15 pages to practice number recognition, number formation, and counting 1:1 correspondence. Because of the concise nature of the worksheets, students will be able to work more independently on them as a center.
The download includes one pdf file.
