Materials needed: pocket chart, laminated cards, dry erase marker
Preparation: cut out each shape individually and laminate them. Once they are laminated, with a dry erase marker write numbers on the shapes that you want your students to practice. Put the shapes in a pocket chart with the number facing out. You can put them in numerical order or all mixed up. Hide the object behind one of the numbers. **To make the center bigger, print double of each page so that you can have 22 numbers to practice**
Directions: Once the object is hidden behind one of the numbers, have the students take turns to guess where it is. I change the shapes out based on the season or holiday. For example, for Christmas the numbers are written on the trees, and the present is hidden behind one of them.
