This is the second lesson, which continues to look at the basics rules of index notation. It builds on the first lesson by looking at what to do when brackets and negative powers are involved. This lesson is ideal for the foundation tier at GCSE and KS3, but also a good review lesson for a higher tier group as well.
The lesson comes with a starter, lots of teaching slides, with MWB activities, a detailed worksheet with answers, a handout with all the rules together to give out to pupils and plenary. 14 slides.
This comes as a three-part series that is available as a bundle and I highly recommend as a sequence of lessons.
