These 11 hands-on activity sheets are similar to my MATH MATS!, but contain more activities on each page! They provide great practice and reinforcement for your students struggling with the numbers 10-20.
Each sheet involves your students participating in 11 activities:
*LOOKING at the number with a magnifying glass
*HEARING and SAYING the number (fun with a phonics phone!)
*COLORING the number in bubble digits
*HIGHLIGHTING the correct number in a row when the digits are interchanged
*TRACING the number
*WRITING the number on the handwriting line
*DOTTING the number in the ten frame boxes
*CIRCLING the number when it’s hidden in a continuous row
*COLORING the units on ten rods to represent the number
*Cutting out 3 puzzle pieces and gluing them on the PUZZLE square to show the
number….good for spatial awareness
*Cutting out the 2 boxes of individual digits and GLUING them on the larger box in the
correct order to form the number
NOTE: My font for the number four has “the top open” (as opposed to the “triangular shape”) as this is how most students learn to write it.
