‘Number Know How’ bundle is a set of interactive number boards (numbers to 120) made in PowerPoint + printables. Simple to use. Endless opportunities to explore number in the classroom. It also includes over 170 printable pages. ‘Number Know How’ bundle includes the PowerPoints from ‘Numbasaurus’, ‘Know Your Numbers with Percy and Patricia’ and ‘Know Your Numbers with Pirate Pete’. With three backgrounds (and many printables) to choose from, number exploration can be kept fresh and exciting. Each board has the option of starting with a 0 or 1. • The board has the option of starting with a 0 or 1.
• Simply start your chosen Powerpoint and select your starting number.
• Click on the numbers to highlight. Click again to hide a number.
• Or choose to hide groups of numbers.
• There is an additional feature of being able to hide numbers.
• Hide individual numbers by clicking twice on the number.
• Or hide the entire board or sets of numbers by clicking the HIDE menu buttons.

• Pretty much anything you can do with a physical number board – except rearrange or take the numbers off.

Numbasaurus:
Tricky Tracks (11 pages)
Sequential counting from a given number. Large enough to be laminated and used with dry markers. Ideal for learning center activities.
• Look at the starting number then write the numbers on the footprints
• counting by one.
• counting by two.

Dinosaur Cave (2 pages – 2 activities per page)
Smallest and Biggest
What type of dinosaur is going into the cave? Find out by circling or coloring the:
• smallest number on each set of footprints.
• biggest number on each set of footprints.
• (2 levels – both with the same answers so they can be used for differentiation.
• First sheet includes numbers to 50. Second sheet includes numbers to 120. The sheets aren’t labelled so that students won’t be aware if they are given a different level.)

Sorting Bones (5 pages)
Ascending and Descending numbers
When a dinosaur skeleton is discovered, the bones have to be carefully sorted. Sort the bones below by cutting them out and pasting them in:
• ascending and descending order.
• 2 levels so they can be used for differentiation. First and second sheet includes numbers to 50. Third and fourth sheet includes numbers to 120. The sheets aren’t labelled so that students won’t be aware if they are given a different level.
• Includes a blank page so you can create your own activity to suit the needs of your students.

Blank number grid. (1 page - 2 grids per page)

Number sequence / pattern worksheets. (5 pages – 2 activities per page)
Complete the number pattern.
• Counting in 1s, 5s, 2s and mixed patterns.
• Each worksheet increases in difficulty.
• Tailor worksheets to meet your needs by printing the blank one and adding your own sequences with missing numbers.
• A great way for students to reinforce their understanding of number and number sequences is for them to create their own ‘puzzle’ with missing numbers and swap with a partner to complete. 2 per page.

Number lines (3 pages)
Number line activity – sequencing number by filling in the missing numbers.
• Set of master number lines 0 – 10
• Set of blank master number lines – ideal for creating laminated class sets. Students can use and reuse for number investigations.

Odd / Even (6 pages)
Sorting numbers into odd and even groups. Cut and paste onto dinosaurs.
• 1 activity – 2 different levels

Dinosaur number cards. (8 pages)
• Left hand cards include written form of numbers in tens.
• Right hand cards include written form of numbers 1 - 9.
• These can be used to create numbers. E.g choose a number from the interactive number board. Students make the number by choosing the correct left and right cards.
• Also useful for place value activities.
• Use them in conjunction with rock numeral cards.
• Use the blank cards however you like, not necessarily number activities.
• Black and white version supplied.
• Blank cards supplied.

Carved Numbers on Rocks (19 pages)
• A set of numeral cards 0 – 120 + circle carving representing numbers 0 – 10.
• There are 12 sets of cards with 10 circles so numbers to 120 can be created.
• Why not use them as a place value activity or use the numeral cards on their own.
• A blank set allows you to create your own carvings. Use the blank set however you like within your classroom.

Prehistoric Footprints (12 pages)
Count in 10s to 120 and have students create a dinosaur walk around the classroom.
• Each footprint is ½ A4 page.
• Use numerals by themselves or combine with number dots arranged in groups of ten.

Know Your Numbers with Percy and Patricia:

Penguin Display Cards – counting in 10s. (14 pages)
These are A4 sized penguins displaying numbers to 120 – counting in 10s. Dots on the caps represent the numbers written on the scarf and penguin. Dots are grouped into tens for easy identification.
110 and 120 written in two formats. (one hundred ten OR one hundred and ten) Choose which is applicable to your country.
• Cut out the penguins to create a display board or leave on A4 sheets.

Penguin number cards. (21 color / 21 B/W)
• Numerals and written numbers to 120.
• Match the written number and numeral and complete the penguin.
• Use the number cards in any way that suits your classroom needs. Incorporate them into activities with the interactive number board.

E.g. shuffle the cards. Choose the penguin interactive background and hide all numbers. Draw a card. Students must work out where that number is on the board.
E.g. Students draws card and other students ask questions to work out what the number is. Or use them in conjunction with the written cards – sort and match and make the penguin whole!
• Black and white version available.
• Blank cards supplied.

Dress the penguin
• Ideal for Learning Centers or small groups. (2 pages caps and scarves color, 2 pages caps and scarves B/W, 6 pages penguins)
• Penguins have numbers written on them counting in 10s from 10 – 120.
• They can be used on sheets and cut in half or each penguin shape can be cut out.
• 2 penguins per A4 page.
• These can be sequenced by students but multiple activities can be created with the addition of extra materials.
• Penguin caps have dots on them representing numbers in 10s to 120.
• Students can match the caps to the penguins.
• Sequence them to further extend students.

Cut out the hats and placed them on the penguins.

Know Your Numbers with Pirate Pete:
Odd and Even Puzzle 2 pages (1 sheet each)
What message did Pirate Pete send in his bottle? Find out by circling the even/odd number from each pair of bottles. Under each number you circled is a letter. Write those letters in order in the message box to see what he wrote.

Biggest/Smallest number (6 pages)
Determine the biggest number from a selection.

2 Sets. Each set:
• ascending order x 2 sheets

• Students cut and paste the numbers onto the treasure maps in ascending or descending order. Ordered numbers spell out where the pirate’s gold is buried.
• Organised into 2 sets. Solution is the same for each set but Set 1 has numbers to 50 whereas Set 2 has numbers to 120.
• Designed to cater for different student abilities.

Gold Coin number cards.
• Set of gold coins 1 – 120 and treasure chest.
• These can be used for a variety of number activities.
• In my classroom I have used tissue boxes as treasure chests. Students had to perform a variety of tasks including sorting the coins into odd and even and placing them in the correct treasure chests. These cards were also used in place value activities, sequencing and ascending and descending order. Use them in conjunction with the number board. Shuffle and pick a number – find it from the hidden numbers on the board.
• Black and white version of the gold coins supplied.
• Blank version of the gold coins supplied.

Bingo!
• 2 levels of bingo.
• Set 1: 8 numbers per bingo sheet. 24 bingo sheets.
• Set 2: 15 numbers per bingo sheet. 12 bingo sheets.
