Do your students need practice skip counting and working with number lines? Mine too! Do your students LOVE animals? Mine too! I made this little pack of number line work that addresses skip counting by 2's, 3's, 5's and 10's. Just for fun, one page even has 100's! On every page there is a cute little animal and a space for them to guess what it is. Most of them are pretty easy so it is very motivating, because doesn't everyone like to get the answer right?! You can also add some science in by asking what the habitat would be for the animal.
The number line skills start out easy with the 2's and gets progressively harder with skip counting by ten starting with a random number like 26. A hundreds chart is provided for support in this area. There are mini hundreds chart (4 to a page) Half sheet hundred charts (2 per page) and a full page. You can choose the one best for your students.
The packet contains 26 pages.
It could be a nice self starting morning work or a fun math center. Have Fun!
