This is a simple matching activity for the numbers 0 through 10. Cut, print on cardstock and laminate for durability, if desired. Shuffle and have students match the numeral to the corresponding number word and ten frame. You can eliminate one of the three if the student needs to focus on just one or two skills (i.e. reading number words).
Great for centers/workstations or to send home as a resource for additional practice. Corresponds with kindergarten Common Core Standards for counting and cardinality and high frequency words (number words).
MACC.K.CC.1.3: Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20.
MACC.K.CC.2.5: Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1–20, count out that many objects.
LACC.K.RF.3.3.c: Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).
