Number Names: Counting Objects to Say Number Names with an I Have...Who Has...Game.
With this "I Have...Who Has" Counting Objects to say number names game, students will be engaged with counting objects in varied arrangements (in a line, in a rectangular array, scattered, in a circle) and say the number name associated with the number of objects. They will be counting "how many" for 0 up to 20 objects. The game includes 20 different cards and blank cards if the teacher would like to include any other arrangements of numbers. This game is a fun addition to a lesson over counting objects and for review at various other times. Students can exchange cards after the completion of one game to play another. The teacher can also time the students while playing so that the students can try to beat previous times.
This game satisfies the Common Core State Standards K.CC.A.3 and K.CC.B.
