Number Posters: Numeral Formation Posters and Printables 0-10
Build good handwriting habits and increase number recognition with these posters and printables!
I created these posters to use with my kindergarten class while listening to our favorite numeral formation song. The children stand up and “sky write” each numeral as I point to the corresponding poster and model the path of motion for that numeral. The letter size posters can be seen from a distance. I also made small cards that can be posted in a math center or on your board. I like to have a small set on my white board. I attach magnetic tape to the backs of the small cards so children can remove them if they need a model when writing a particular numeral.
To go along with these posters, I have made a tracing mat. This can be laminated so the children can trace with a dry erase marker or with their finger. Finally, I have included a tracing worksheet for pencil practice with tracing numbers!
