Numbers Posters ~ Zero through Twenty
These Number Posters are designed to help students build number sense and become familiar with ten frames.
Please note the alignment of the ten frames. The frame showing the tens place is directly over the digit it represents. The frame showing the number of objects in the ones place is directly over the digit in the ones place. I find this arrangement really helps kids understand the meaning of numbers in the teens.
These number posters support the following Common Core Standards:
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
Compose and decompose numbers from 11 to 19 into ten ones and some further ones.
Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!
Sincerely, Anne Gardner (NBCT)
