Save time! I did all the work and formatting to create a scaffolded practice set for numbers 1-10.
Line 1 have students use a highlighter to trace over the number. Line 2 have them trace the yellow numbers with a pencil (remember to print color copies - if you can't they will show up grey and will be a good alternative).
Line 3 have them trace the dotted numbers.
Line 4 have them use the model and write the number next to each one.
Line 5 have the write independently.
Don't want to make tons of sets? Print one good set in color and laminate back to back or put in sheet protectors and use dry erase markers. I have mine laminated for practice. As they students master the skill, I have a paper set for artifacts. You could always take a picture of the dry erase version for a digital artifact. Enjoy! Look for my ABC practice coming soon.
