This is a Memory game to help students understand Number Properties in Number Form, Word Form, Expanded Form, Base 10 Blocks, etc. Each page has 8 cards. You will need to cut out the cards along the black lines. Each card has a number (written in number form, word form, expanded form, base 10 blocks, or hundreds/tens/ones). There is a matched pair for each number.
Directions for Play:
First, shuffle the cards and lay them face down on the table.
Students will take turns playing. The player whose last name comes first in the alphabet may start and then play will move to the right.
When it is your turn, turn over two cards. If you have matching numbers (ex. 245 & two hundred forty five), you will keep the pair. If you do not have matching numbers, play moves on to the next player.
The player who has the greatest number of matching number pairs will win!
