I created this product for the kindergarten teachers in my building who were looking for math games for their students while they teach small groups. This game is based off of the popular Race to 100! number identification game.
Because this product was geared toward kindergarten and first graders, the game board starts off with number identification to 10 and gradually increases to 120 to meet the Common Core State Standard:
First Grade 1.NBT.1: Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
Included are 12 game boards that help students identify numbers from 10 to 120. Each board has a monthly theme with adorable backgrounds and clip art from Scrappin Doodles www.scrappindoodles.com. The only thing needed to play this game is a die and the board. Using this game throughout the entire year will keep a consistent routine in place for your students and help to gradually build number identification up to 120.
This game is perfect for kindergarten and first graders. It can also be used for struggling second graders and the intervention setting. I hope you enjoy! Please leave feedback based on your experiences. Thank you so much and Happy Learning!
