This is a whole lesson building on the first lesson which was introducing the topic of radicals. It goes into a lot of detail on how to simplify radicals, with different exam style examples. I have attached a worksheet that I got form TES, but I have changed/ adapted it to make harder examples for each section to aid differentiation for the more able mathematicians.
The lesson involves a starter, plenary, great teaching slides, very clear examples, MWB activities and answers for the accompanying worksheet and learning objectives. Keywords play a large part and there are very detailed explanations. This lesson comes as a four-lesson bundle, which I recommend as each lesson builds on the lesson before and is an excellent sequence of lessons.
