Number Sense Activities Bundle - Kindergarten and First Grade Math Crafts
Add some engagement to your math block by incorporating these ten, simple math crafts. They're a great companion activity for students to work on their fine motor skills while developing their number sense. Both kindergarten and first grade students can enjoy the benefits of these math projects by working on their scissor skills and hand-eye coordination, while sharpening their math skills.
Each craft includes templates and a focus on one of the following: making ten, number lines, addition, subitizing, base ten, patterning, and number bonds. Students will LOVE the opportunity to be creative and teachers will love their level of engagement while working on their number sense skills!
These activities are ideal for students in grades K-1, though they could easily be used with advanced Pre-K students or remediation in 2nd grade.
