### Description

This is a candy corn themed roam the room small group number sense activity incorporating base ten blocks or ten frames with writing numerals, writing number words, and representing a given quantity with tally marks, on ten frames, and by drawing base ten blocks. The concept of teen numbers being composed of ten and a number and determining one less and one more than a number are also addressed. This easy to prepare kindergarten and beginning first grade activity gives your students the opportunity to move around the room. There are 2 sets of cards, each in color and black/ gray/ white, one with ten frames and the other with base ten blocks. Choose the one you prefer or have your students complete one set now and the other set later. This resource received a cosmetic update (October 7, 2018).
