These games are great to help your students better understand putting numbers in order or in a sequence. The best thing about these four games is they can be changed to challenge any level student including your higher or lower level students.
The four games “Put In Order,” “What’s at the Beginning and End,” “What’s in the Middle”, and “What’s Your Rule” come with 3 “I Can” instructions for your students. The red instruction is the easiest practice while the blue is the most challenging. You can also change the dice from 6 sides to 10 to make the game more challenging. Each game also includes a recording sheet. I would copy a 100s chart on the back and then laminate the recording sheet. Have the students fill in the answers with a dry erase marker. This will save paper and allow them to play more games. The 100s chart can be used to check their work if they disagree on an answer.
Also it is important to teach how to play these games before putting in a workstation. I hope your class enjoys these games.
