Description

Help develop students' number sense and flexibility with numbers with this Number Talk pack.

There are three resources included;

1) Question Cards + Thinking Stem

"What can you see?"

"How else can you see it?"

"I can see..."

2) Dot Pattern Cards - Use for the whole class or small group instruction

3) Gumball Write n' Wipe Cards - Students draw with a dry erase marker how they saw the number. Extend this activity by having them record verbally to a learning journal. A visual instruction sheet is included.

This has made number talks so much quicker and easier in the morning! I can adapt each dot pattern to use either as a full page for group discussions, or print them out for individual students and use as a form of assessment and evaluation.
