Students will write the number of the day (the number of days they have been school) in the heart. Students will then write the number that is one less than this in the left circle and the number that is one more than this in the right circle.
Students will draw the base ten blocks that represent the number of the day. Students will write how many tens and ones there are and will then write the value of the tens and ones in expanded form.
Students will make tally marks to represent the number of the day.
Students will represent the digit in the ones place in the tens frame to determine if the number if even or odd.
Students will color in or draw a heart around the number of the day on the hundred chart and will then write which number is 10 less and which number is 10 more than it.
Students will show the number of the day by drawing money.
