Product Description
This Daily Morning or anytime booklet is a fun way to encourage your kiddos to think about numbers.
I was asked to create this packet for a former student teacher of mine for her Elementary Special Ed Kiddos.
She looked and looked and could not find anything she had pictured to fit her students' needs.
I think she was accustomed to what we did in our class when we taught together. As a result, I came up with this and she LOVED it!  This is a booklet that works primarily with the day of school so the number changes everyday.

Each day the students are asked the following:

Page 1 Includes:
What is the day of school?
How many 100’s, 10’s and 1’s are in the number?
Show the number of the day using flats, longs and cubes as described.
Show the number 3 different ways: addition, subtraction, tallies etc.
Show the day of school with money.( there are 23 pages one which shows the value of the money on the coins and another without the values so you can differentiate as needed or gradually release the values as time goes on. So as you create the booklet, put the pages without coin values farther back in the booklet.
You can choose to simply put only these pages into the booklet running it with as many pages as you need or want, staple it with the cover provided...one black and white and one in color (your choice) or add some of the other pages described below.  So you would have page 1, then 2.then 3, repeat the pattern using harder pages as the year goes on or to challenge some students.

☆ Page 2 Includes:
The days of the week asking the questions: What is today, What was yesterday and what will be tomorrow.
A Number grid to mark the day of school and them some questions using the number grid. Example: What day will it be in ____days? What day was it _____days ago?  This continues for 12 pages, which can be placed after the first page and the questions change and get a bit harder.
The next 6 pages have more difficult questions about the number grid and also ask the students to write the date with words and numbers. These more difficult pages have a star in the top right corner. They can be added
These pages can be added after page one everyday and differentiated or they can be added later on in the booklet as the year continues.

☆ Page  3 Includes:
A clock where the students are asked to write the time that it is right then and then write it digitally.  Again there are 23 pages like this that get harder. Those harder pages have a star on the top right corner and can be differentiated or used as the year progresses. Those pages ask the children to tell the time and then what time will it be or was it so many minutes or hours ago or in the future.
A space for the student to write 3 digits and then make the largest and smallest number they can using only those digits.
A space for the students to create and write a word problem, show the correct equation and then Explain their answer.
This booklet is open-ended as you, the teacher, can create the booklet using only 1 pages repeated over and over, 2 pages repeated over and over or 3. It is your choice to make it as easy or as challenging as you think you class needs or that individual children need! I created the pages...you create the booklet!
