Number of the day booklet focusing on numbers to 20. There are four different versions of the page included in the download. Each is presented in 6 different coloured borders and black and white. There is also a title page in colour and black & white.
The coloured pages could be printed and laminated to use with markers. Excellent addition to maths lessons to teach number sense. My Year 1 students loved the Numbers to 100
version and once familiar with the format could work on these independently at the beginning of each maths lesson. We also used it in maths centers.
Skills covered include:
-write the number in words
-colour ones blocks
-draw the number
-1 before & after
-fill in the tens frames
-draw tally marks
-write a number sentence
-odd or even
-fill in the number line
-count on fingers
The pages contain more difficult skill sets so would be great to introduce each term as the children are ready or could be used for differentiation with more capable students
The download is 2 pdf files. One with the English spelling of colour and one with the American spelling.
This is also available as part of a bundle
with the Number of the Day booklets for numbers to 100 and numbers to 1000. Perfect for easy differentiation.
These work really well with our Fuzzy Monster Number Posters 1-20
or Superhero Number Posters 1-20
. Fantastic to teach your children to reference as they fill in the booklet
