***My kids can literally not put these down! They would rather do this back to school work than anything else in their day. I even find them sneaking around to work on it.***
***You may begin using this resource the first day of school because it is NO PREP***
**This bundle includes all of my FIRST and SECOND grade Number of the Day units!!**
Many teachers have asked to have the option of purchasing two grade levels at a time. First grade classes may use the second grade for enrichment. Second grade classes may use the first grade units for intervention. It includes 24 Number of the Day units with seasonal themes.
**Aligned with the First Grade Common Core Math Standards and the First Grade Math TEKS**
It includes all units in these two bundles:
First Grade Number of the Day Bundle
Second Grade Number of the Day Bundle
Purchase them together for less than the two bundles together. You save 40% off the price of the 24 units individually!!!
These units are foundational for understanding place value in second grade. It will include twelve units, one for each month of the year. These are great for daily review, homework, morning work and for the start of your daily routine. Just print and go!
All of these units give your students a lot of practice working with numbers, representation and relationships. All students need daily practice working with numbers to effectively develop their number sense. The units review number sense from the the Second Grade Common Core Math Curriculum.
I use ‘guided math’ in my classroom. I begin my teaching time block teaching/spiraling math concepts as a whole group, but most of my math block is devoted to guided practice in small groups followed by independent or small group practice, centers and intervention. I begin my math time every day with a page from my popular Number of the Day
series. You may find more math in this “printable” format in my store.
I hope that you and your kids enjoy this fun resource throughout the year. Check back soon. I continue to add Number of the Day
