calendar time. Students can receive a new sheet each day or the sheet could be placed in a sheet protector and dry erase marker is used each day. Once the number of day is established, students write it. Then they find in on the hundreds chart, color it on a blank hundreds chart, and circle it with the tens frames. The number is broken down into tens and ones and ten more or less is added/subtracted to that number. Finally, students create equations to make that number. An example sheet is included.
