Product Description
The Number of the Day is a wonderful tool for teaching and reviewing numerous math skills on a daily basis. This set includes 90 pages, one page to be used each day or however often you wish. This was created for second grade (it's challenging!), but I have had third and fourth grade teachers tell me that it would fit well in their curriculum as a great daily review as well. Skills covered include: place value, expanded notation, number words, greater than/less than, sequencing, addition and subtraction including double and triple digit (regrouping skills required in this set!), multiplication, division, even/odd, money, time, word problems, fractions, more/less, doubles, and rounding to the tens and hundreds place. As mentioned above, regrouping skills are required in this set. If you are looking for the same type of product, without regrouping skills, check out "Number of the Day Part One" which is the same type of product, with no regrouping skills necessary. If you purchase both sets, you would have 180 pages to cover the entire year. The level of difficulty remains consistent throughout both sets, except for the regrouping in part two. If you like this product, check back as I will also be posting my language arts version soon, called "Word of the Day", which is a similar format, with daily review of numerous language arts skills. Thanks for looking!
