Read, Write and Count has 21 worksheets focusing on learning and practicing number concepts for numbers 0-9 with touch counting points. For those that haven’t purchased one of my other touch counting products, Numbers 1-5 have solid dots on the numbers. These signify you touch and count that dot once. Numbers 6 and 8 have solid dots with rings around the dots. This signifies you count the dot first, then the ring outside of it. Numbers 7 and 9 have a combination of both types of dots.

Worksheets include

Pages 3-12 are multi-activity pages for practicing numbers 0 through 9. The activities included on the multi-activity pages are:

Section 1: shows the target number being taught/practiced on the worksheet.

Section 2: students use left to right progression and tracking to find the target number in 3 rows of numbers and mark it. This section can be differentiated as needed by having your students circle the number, use bingo dabbers or use X’s to indicate the numbers they find.

Section 3: practices tracing the number over dotted lines and then writing the number on their own. The first number on each worksheet includes the directional arrows to help students form the numbers correctly.

Section 4: contains a grid of 10 math counting items such as dice, dominoes, ten frames, pictures and tally marks in which students must count and determine which of the boxes contains the targeted number of items. The work can once again be differentiated by having students color the items, color in the boxes, use bingo dabbers or X’s according to their abilities and skills.
