Preparation to play Number Bingo:
Print out teacher cards, laminate and cut between.
Print out game boards, cut between and laminate.
How to use Number Bingo:
Play whole class or small group
Each child has a game board and 6 counters in front of them.
Put all teacher cards in a box or a hat.
Pull out a number and say it aloud. If the child has that number on their game board, they cover it with a counter.
Continue to call out numbers, covering with a counter if children have this number. When a child has 3 counters in a row, the child calls out “Bingo”.
Continue playing whole board, when a child has covered each number on their board, the child calls out “Bingo”.
Use as a warm up to your maths lesson or in small group situations where children require extra assistance reading and recognising numbers. It’s easy for both subs and teaching aides to pick up and use! Children could also play at home with their family!
