There are FOUR cards that represent each of the numbers from 1 to 20! The representations include dice, base ten blocks, ten frames, coins (including NEW coins!), playing cards, and place value disks.
This game can be differentiated multiple ways!
You can have students use all 80 cards (2 matches for each number 1-20).
You can pull out one of the matches for each number so students are only finding one match for each number 1-20. More than one game can be going on if you do this.
You can have some students working with numbers 1-5 or 1-10, while others are working on 11-15 or 11-20. Multiple games can be played by multiple groups and can be based on their level.
You can also have students turn the cards face down and play an old-fashioned game of "Memory/Concentration"!
Cards can be removed to make it appropriate for Kindergarten.
So many possibilities!
