This product contains two sets of 29 crowns in English and Spanish. Numbers 1-20 and the following shapes are included: circle, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, cube, cone, sphere, and cylinder (círculo, cuadrado, triángulo, rectángulo, hexágono, cubo, cono, cilindro, y esfera). As this product is intended for Kindergarten students, I highlighted in gray the section where they will cut instead of simply including a dotted line. This helps students who are still developing their fine motor skills to cut paper independently and with accuracy. Each crown also has an activity on the page the crown is cut out from. On the number pages, students trace the number. On the shapes pages, students identify and color the shape on the crown.
Have students glue the crown to a sentence strip and staple it to fit on their head like a hat. I use these crowns for beginning of the year math centers with teacher support, as we focus on numbers 1-10. Later in the year, I let students cut and staple their crowns independently after modeling. They love wearing them!
