Engaging and interactive way to learn everything about a number!
This product includes:
4 COMPLETE SETS – one for each season (spring, summer, fall, winter) with 24 activity cards per set. Each card is meant to further analyze the given number and help students use their schemata, learn about various ways to show/look at a number, and better understand numbers. CCS aligned!
HERE IS WHAT EACH SET INCLUDES:

Show the number using ten sticks and ones
Fill in the missing number

What is the ordinal number? Say it, write it.
Show the number partners. Give at least two examples.
Is the number odd or even?
Give two examples of numbers bigger than today’s number.
Give two examples of numbers smaller than today’s number.
Can today’s number be divided into two equal numbers/parts? Draw for numbers 1 to 20.
Create a word problem including today’s number. Solve the word problem.

EXTRA ACTIVITY CARDS
I am providing extra blank cards, cards with number lines (1 to 20, 20 to 30, 30 to 40, 40 to 50), cards with ten frames, cards with +, -, =.

How to use?
Print, laminate and use in a pocket chart as part of your Calendar/Morning Routine.
Use as part of students’ jobs, as a whole class or as a task for early finishers.
Switch sets according to seasons thus keeping it relevant and more appealing to your students.

CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.B.4a When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.B.4c Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.C.6 Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
CCSS.Math.Content.K.OA.A.2 Solve addition and subtraction word problems, and add and subtract within 10, e.g., by using objects or drawings to represent the problem.
CCSS.Math.Content.K.OA.A.3 Decompose numbers less than or equal to 10 into pairs in more than one way, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each decomposition by a drawing or equation (e.g., 5 = 2 + 3 and 5 = 4 + 1).
