Need a great game to help students practice numbers between 1 and 100? Then check out this awesome original game by AGO Kids English Learning. It's especially useful for helping students recognize numbers individually, rather than saying them linearly by counting.
The game is similar to Snakes and Ladders, but we've simplified it a bit to make it suitable for even the youngest learners. Simply roll a die and move a game piece forward while counting. After that ask the students to say a target sentence such as:
"This is the number 29." or "I have 29 pencils in my pocket."
This game is very flexible and can be used as a warmup activity or as a reward to motivate students in class.
