Description

These positive and unique reward tags were created to encourage and motivate young students to learn numbers 0-20 and reward their efforts.

Each one of the reward tags is unique so that students receive something different and special for each number learned which keeps them enthusiastic and excited about their learning.

The tags were created to appeal to young children and also give them a visual reminder of each number.

Each reward tag has a special praise word and a 'You know number ____!" cheer. Each tag also has a cute number character along with a ten frame representation of the number so students can "see" the number and build their number sense.

These number reward tags can be used in multiple ways. Students can collect their individual tags on necklaces, in books (included), or as individual rewards that are taken home (great way to keep parents informed of progress).

The numbers reward tag book gives students a nice keepsake of their accomplishments and can also be used for reference throughout the year. In addition, it provides a less public way for you and your students to keep track of their progress. Students glue a number tag on each page as they are earned and can write the number, write the number word, fill in the ten frame underneath (depending on the student's ability level).

You receive:

• 21 unique number reward tags for #0-20 that maintain student interest and are visual reminders of the numbers

• 2 reward tags for learning all the numbers (Congrats! You learned numbers 0-20 and Hooray! I know ALL my numbers!)

• 2 number book cover options plus a blank cover title option so that you can choose a title that fits your needs

• printable inside book pages for students to keep track of their progress and create a keepsake or reference book

• individual pages for each number reward tag for printing multiple tags at once for classroom use PLUS pages with multiple number reward tags all on one page for homeschool use or for use with a few students.

I have found that receiving something special to celebrate their efforts (especially if they have been struggling) can energize a student's desire to learn more, rekindle enthusiasm about learning, and restore their confidence and commitment.

Since young students in pre-k and kindergarten are expected to learn many standards which can get overwhelming for them, using these individual reward tags to encourage and praise their efforts each step of the way makes it a positive learning experience and gives them a visual reminder of all they have accomplished.

Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
