Product Description
Numbers to 10 Around The Room

Here is a simple activity to help students recognize and write numbers to 10. Print out the cards of your choosing and place them in various spots around the room, then give each student a recording sheet, clipboard and pencil. They will walk around the room on a number hunt to find all the numbers. When they find a card they will have to write the numeral beside the picture on their recording sheet that matches the picture on the card. This makes it a bit more challenging and ensures that they are actually taking their time to find the numbers. It’s simple and fun with a purpose. Set contains 3 versions to allow for differentiation:

1)numerals to 10
2)Random dot patterns (based on Van de Walle’s number sense)
3)Ten frames

CCSS alignment:
K.CC.A.3– write numbers from 1-20
K.CC.B.4– Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities.
K.CC.B.5– Count to answer “how many?”
