What You Get
✽Two 20-question tests: a pre-test and a post-test (answer keys provided – the answer keys are the same for both tests so that you can use the same Scantron key)
✽Student goals sheet for students to create a post-test goal and graph their results (one for individual student goals and one that includes a class average goal)
✽Excel data sheet for the pre-test and post-test. Use the pre-test data to determine what skills you will need to spend more or less time on throughout the unit. Implementing a pre-test is also great for identifying which students need to receive enrichment during the teaching of this unit if they have mastered the skills on the pre-test already, and which students will need further instruction during this unit in order to master these standards. I use a pre-test Excel spreadsheet to help analyze the data. This is great for documenting the use of data for creating flexible grouping. It is also great for your end of the year portfolio, and showing your students’ academic growth.
