### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Number Talk is a short, ongoing daily routine that provides students with meaningful ongoing practice with computation. A Number Talk is a great way to help students develop computational fluency because the expectation is that they will use number relationships and the structures of numbers to add, subtract, multiply and divide. All you need is the Number Talk slide and a writing tool! You may print off the slide and put it under a document camera to fill out. You may also project the slide onto a Promethean board or Smart Board and fill it in. Number Talks are meant to be used as a mental math tool but students may show their work on a dry erase board or paper.
